Im neu­en Jahr star­ten die Hyzer­n­auts eine neue Expe­di­ti­on zum Aste­ro­iden Wie­sen­burg. Er ist für sei­ne aus­la­den­den Fair­ways bekannt, doch bis­her fehlt noch die rich­ti­ge Crew um die­se auch gebüh­rend zu bespie­len. Das Ufo lan­det am 10.05.2026 für ein PDGA C‑Tier, bei dem alle, unab­hän­gig von einer Ver­eins­mit­glied­schaft, mit­spie­len kön­nen. Am 10.05.2026 möch­ten wir mit euch zusam­men ein neu­es Tur­nier in Wie­sen­burg ins Leben rufen. An die­sem Sonn­tag wer­den 2 Run­den auf 18 Löchern gespielt, wobei wir 12 Bah­nen des regu­lä­ren Wie­sen­burg Kur­ses spie­len und 6 neue Bah­nen, die exklu­siv für das Tur­nier auf­ge­baut wer­den. Damit alle Astro­nau­ten rich­tig am Tur­nier­tag durch­star­ten kön­nen, wer­den wir dafür sor­gen, dass der Kurs sich von sei­nen bes­ten Sei­ten zeigt, die Fair­ways glän­zen und die C1 Cir­cles strahlen.

Ins­ge­samt haben wir 72 Start­plät­ze im Ufo für euch. In der Mit­tags­pau­se wer­den in der gro­ßen Hal­le sowie dem Café alle mit Essen und Geträn­ken ver­sorgt. Zusätz­lich habt ihr die Mög­lich­keit am Merch­stand ein Andenken an das Tur­nier in Form einer Tur­nier­schei­be mit WWO-Stamp mit­zu­neh­men, aber auch unse­ren regu­lä­ren Hyzer­n­auts Merch wie Tri­kots, Shirts und die Hyzer­n­auts Schei­ben. Gespielt wird in den PDGA Farb­di­vi­sio­nen – es wer­den Spie­ler­ka­te­go­rien anhand des Ratings gebil­det. Somit haben alle eine rea­lis­ti­sche Chan­ce das Tur­nier in ihrer jewei­li­gen Divi­si­on zu gewin­nen. Das Tur­nier ist ein PDGA C‑Tier, das bedeu­tet es kön­nen alle, unab­hän­gig von einer Ver­eins­mit­glied­schaft, mit­spie­len. Außer­dem erwar­ten euch vie­le lus­ti­ge Side-Events wie ein lon­gest-dri­ve und CTP Wett­be­wer­be mit coo­len Preisen.

Am Vor­tag des Tur­niers, also am 09.05., könnt ihr den Kurs ab 14 Uhr schon mal zur Pro­be spielen.

Turnierformat

Das Tur­nier wird als Shot­gun Start gespielt, was bedeu­tet, dass alle Spie­ler zeit­gleich star­ten. In der ers­ten Run­de wer­den die Flights gemischt über alle Divi­sio­nen gebil­det, in der zwei­ten Run­de wer­den die Flights dann nach Divi­si­on und dem Resul­tat aus der ers­ten Run­de gebil­det, sodass die bes­ten aus jeder Divi­si­on zusam­men spie­len. Als Divi­sio­nen neh­men wir die PDGA-Farb­di­vi­sio­nen, die­se tei­len die Spie­ler nicht anhand von Geschlecht oder Alter in Divi­sio­nen ein, son­dern anhand ihres Ratings, die wie folgt sind:

• Gold: Pro-Niveau, Rating 970+. 
• Blau: Ama­teu­re, Rating unter 970.
• Weiß: Ama­teu­re, Rating unter 935.
• Rot: Ama­teu­re, Rating unter 900.
• Grün: Ama­teu­re, Rating unter 850.
• Lila: Ama­teu­re, Rating unter 800.

Jede Divi­si­on kommt zustan­de, sobald min­des­tens 5 Spie­ler in ihr ange­mel­det sind. Wenn eine Divi­si­on nicht zustan­de kommt, wird sie mit einer ande­ren zusam­men gelegt. Am Ende wer­den dann alle Gewin­ner der jewei­li­gen Divi­si­on geehrt.

Euer Rating bestimmt ihr nach dem jeweils höhe­ren Rating zwi­schen eurem Metrix-Rating und eurem PDGA-Rating. Falls ihr auf kei­ne der bei­den Platt­for­men ein Rating habt, könnt ihr eine ehr­li­che Schät­zung vor­neh­men. Wenn das euer ers­tes Tur­nier ist, dann seid ihr wahr­schein­lich in der Divi­si­on Lila richtig.

Anreise

Das Tur­nier fin­det auf dem Gelän­de von Coun­try­golf Wie­sen­burg statt unter der Adres­se Am Bahn­hof 37, 14827 Wiesenburg/Mark. Es emp­fiehlt sich eine Anrei­se mit der Bahn, die direkt in der Tur­nier­hal­le hält. Ansons­ten gibt es auch eini­ge Park­plät­ze, wenn ihr lie­ber mit dem Auto anrei­sen wollt.

Anmeldung und Startplatzvergabe

Die Anmel­dung öff­net am 01.03.2026 um 14 Uhr. Die Start­plät­ze wer­den nach dem Prin­zip first come, first ser­ve ver­ge­ben, seid also lie­ber fix bei der Anmel­dung. Die Teil­nah­me am Tur­nier kos­tet 35€ und beinhal­tet die Green­fee am Tur­nier­tag, ein lecke­res Mit­tag­essen und deckt die Mie­te für die Hal­le sowie das Cafe ab. Junio­ren spie­len für 15€ ver­güns­tigt mit.

In the new year, the Hyzer­n­auts are laun­ching a new expe­di­ti­on to the aste­ro­id Wie­sen­burg. It is known for its expan­si­ve fair­ways, but so far the right crew has not been found to play them pro­per­ly. The UFO will land on May 10, 2026, for a PDGA C‑Tier tour­na­ment in which anyo­ne can par­ti­ci­pa­te, regard­less of club mem­ber­ship. On May 10, 2026, we would like to launch a new tour­na­ment in Wie­sen­burg tog­e­ther with you. On this Sun­day, two rounds will be play­ed on 18 holes, with 12 holes from the regu­lar Wie­sen­burg cour­se and six new holes that will be set up exclu­si­ve­ly for the tour­na­ment. To ensu­re that all astro­nauts can get off to a fly­ing start on the day of the tour­na­ment, we will make sure that the cour­se is at its best, with spar­k­ling fair­ways and gle­a­ming C1 circles.

We have a total of 72 start­ing places available for you in the UFO. During the lunch break, ever­yo­ne will be pro­vi­ded with food in the lar­ge hall, and the­re will be an oppor­tu­ni­ty to purcha­se a sou­ve­nir of the tour­na­ment in the form of a tour­na­ment disc with a WWO stamp at the merch stand, as well as our regu­lar Hyzer­n­auts merch such as jer­seys, shirts, and Hyzer­n­auts discs. The tour­na­ment will be play­ed in the PDGA color divi­si­ons, with play­er cate­go­ries based on ratings. This gives ever­yo­ne a rea­li­stic chan­ce of win­ning the tour­na­ment in their respec­ti­ve divi­si­on. The tour­na­ment is a PDGA C‑Tier, which means that anyo­ne can play, regard­less of club mem­ber­ship. The­re will also be lots of fun side events such as lon­gest dri­ve and CTP com­pe­ti­ti­ons with cool prizes.

On the day befo­re the tour­na­ment, May 9, you can try out the cour­se start­ing at 2 p.m.

Format of the tournament

The tour­na­ment is play­ed as a shot­gun start, mea­ning that all play­ers start their round at the same time. For the first round flights will be mixed across all divi­si­ons, for the second round, flights are made based on the result of the pre­vious round and the divi­si­ons so the best of each divi­si­on play tog­e­ther. The divi­si­ons are based on PDGA color divi­si­ons, mea­ning play­ers are not divi­ded into divi­si­ons based on gen­der or age, but rather on their ratings, which are as follows:

• Gold: Pro level, rating 970+.
• Blue: Ama­teurs, rating below 970.
• White: Ama­teurs, rating below 935.
• Red: Ama­teurs, rating below 900.
• Green: Ama­teurs, rating below 850.
• Pur­ple: Ama­teurs, rating below 800.

Each divi­si­on will be crea­ted as soon as at least 5 play­ers have regis­tered for it. If a divi­si­on can­not be crea­ted, it will be mer­ged with ano­ther divi­si­on. At the end, all win­ners of the respec­ti­ve divi­si­ons will be honored.

Your rating is deter­mi­ned by whi­che­ver is hig­her bet­ween your Metrix rating and your PDGA rating. If you don’t have a rating on eit­her plat­form, you can make an honest esti­ma­te. If this is your first tour­na­ment, then you should regis­ter in the pur­ple division.

Location

The tour­na­ment will take place at Coun­try­golf Wie­sen­burg, loca­ted at Am Bahn­hof 37, 14827 Wiesenburg/Mark. We recom­mend tra­ve­ling by train, which stops direct­ly at the tour­na­ment hall. Other­wi­se, the­re are also seve­ral par­king spaces available if you pre­fer to tra­vel by car.

Registration and admission

Regis­tra­ti­on opens on March 1, 2026, at 2 p.m. Start­ing places will be allo­ca­ted on a first come, first ser­ved basis, so be sure to regis­ter quick­ly. Par­ti­ci­pa­ti­on in the tour­na­ment cos­ts €35 and includes the green fee on the day of the tour­na­ment, a deli­cious lunch, and covers the ren­tal of the hall and café. Juni­ors can play for a redu­ced pri­ce of €15.
